Internetkrant Competent (http://www.competentgb.be and subdomains) is a website for a school project by Atheneum Gentbrugge.
Competent logs visits to the website by remembering your IP address. This data is only used to count the amount of visitors on our site. Nobody can access this data.
You can publicly browse competent, without registering. When you register on Competent, we will ask you for:
- First and Last Name
- Profile picture (not required)
- Email address
- A username and password
- Town of residence
- Age
- School
- General info about yourself.
- Your First and Last name, profile picture, Town of residence, School, Age and the general information (including any future assignments for the projects e.g. “Describe your house” or “Write what you think about equality in education” or “What are your hobbies?” ) will be publicly displayed on the Everybody Famous page (http://competentgb.be/everybody-famous).
Your email address and password will not be visible for anyone other than you. We will use your email address to send you an activation email which is used to activate your account and blocks spam bots. Internetkrant competent does not mail any spam or site news.
Internetkrant Competent does not sell/give your information to third parties. All private information will be completely invisible for the public and other users. Site administrators have access to your username and email address. Administrators will only use this information if we have to contact you if problems occur.
Internetkrant Competent might use cookies (small files stored on your pc to optimize your experience. More info: http://www.whatarecookies.com/) to store data on your computer so we can keep you logged in etc. Cookies do not contain any personal data and do not cause any harm.
